The perils of liking leftfield music

Preparing for the shower the other day, I stuck on the rarely-listened-to Melt Banana CD that Rob gave me a couple of months ago. Japanese thrash punk, as regular readers will know, it's great for head-banging to in the shower.

One track was really intriguing, it was way more experimental than I expected them to ever be, all sequences loops and scratchy sounds, very much in the line of Aphex Twin.

Only when I was ready to leave the bedroom, and the track had been going on for ages did I realise the CD was skipping the same two second segment over and over.

Oh dear.
