Californains don't know what they're missing




Californians, and Australians often boast about the brilliance of a constant warm climate. I do see the appeal, but I can't agree.

The Winter months bring so much more variety, and so many special things. Walking to the bus stop at 7.30 this morning, most of the cars had these wonderful frost patterns on them. It's one of the pleasures of an early rise on Winter's day.

The Californians can keep their 365 days of sun.

After I took the photo and resolved to write this post, I bought the Guardian. And funnily enough, their leader writers thought the same thing.
