I've just been in the Yorkshire Dales for the weekend for the first time. Incredible place.

Memories:
Wonderful company with a whole bunch of new people, enough to revitalise all enthusiasm for biking and for meeting all round good eggs.

Meeting Andy Heading, endurance racing god (veteran of 26 day bike race through icy Alaska

The New Inn
in Appletreewick. Best pub in the world? John Pitchers, the landlord, is a legend in UK MTB circles for developing trails and routes around Yorkshire, for running the most bike friendly pub in the world, providing enthusiasm and joy for all.

Even if you aren't an MTBer, get along there to sample his 150+ menu of beers from round the world. This weekend I discovered the wonders of German Smoked beer. Loopy juice.
